Felicity Jones is an British actress best known for playing the role of Jane Hawking in the critically acclaimed film The Theory of Everything. Jones has been working in theatre, film and TV from the age of 12. Her career began with The TV production The Treasure Seekers. The following year she made an appearance in The Worst Witch as Ethel Hallow and Weirdsisters College. The character she played was Young Ruth as her debut film Flashbacks of a Fool. Later, she appeared in a variety of movies. The most notable of these was The Invisible Woman & The Amazing Spider-Man 2, she was a star for her performance. The actress was nominated for an Oscar first-time because of her performance as Stephen's wife Hawking's character on The Theory of Everything. Jones was highly praised by the public and critics as she played Hawking's ex-wife for The Theory of Everything, a Stephen Hawking biopic. Inferno was the following film she appeared in that starred Tom Hanks. Jones was awarded the title British Artist of Year 2016 by the British Academy of Film and Television Arts Los Angeles for her extraordinary talent and work to the film.
