Melina Kanakaredes

Melina Kanakaredes (born May 25, 1970) is a popular American actress. Melina Kanakaredes is best known for portraying Detective Stella Bonasera on CBS's police procedural drama CSI: NY, Dr. Sydney Hansen and Lane Hunter as well as on the drama of NBC Providence. Also, she was praised for her breakthrough television debut role of Eleni Andros Cooper on the CBS soap opera Guiding Light. She has appeared in 15 Minutes Percy Jackson and The Olympians, The Lightning Thief and Snitch. It is reported that she is developing a film adaptation of author Elisabeth Kubler Ross's autobiography The Wheel of Life with Vlas and Charley parlapanides. The team who wrote the movie Immortals. In addition, she's making a film for an upcoming series named Gods & Heroes.
